Gilly Wagoner Wall

The following obituary is posted as a courtesy for the Wall Family and Elkin Funeral Service

Mrs. Gilly Ann Wagoner Wall, age 89, passed away Sunday, September 7, 2025. She was born July 26, 1936, in Yadkin County to Zeno and Cora Hayes Wagoner.

Mrs. Wall was a member of Jonesville Pentecostal Holliness Church and a pillar in the community. She enjoyed yard work, planting flowers, and cooking. Gilly loved her grandchildren deeply and was always a good friend to all.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Wall; sons, Doug Wall and Trent Wall; sister, Velma Macemore; daughter-in-law, Debbie Wall; and brothers-in-law, JR Macemore, Larry Brown, and Billy Shore.

Survivors include her brother, Steve Wagoner, and wife Denise of Yadkinville; sisters, Polly Brown of Yadkinville and Bonnie Shore of Jonesville; daughter-in-law, Lisa Wall; grandchildren, Trevor Wall and wife Allison, Grace Wall and fiancé Caleb, Eryn King and husband Patrick, and Tyler Wall; great-grandchild, Gillian King.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 14, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Jonesville Pentecostal Holliness Church with Rev. Greg Runner officiating. Burial will follow at Crestwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday, September 13, from 5:00-7:00 pm at Elkin Funeral Service.
