Glenda Gordon Starling

STARLING

EAST BEND -  Our Beloved Glenda Gordon Starling, 66, of East Bend was called home on January 31, 2026.  She retired from Yadkin County Schools with 27 years of service.  She made many friends over those years.  Glenda was compassionate, courageous and always vibrant wherever she went.  She was passionate and devoted to her family.  Glenda was a strong believer in God and witnessed his Word as much as she could.

In addition to her parents, Glenda was also preceded in death by a son, Robby Starling and great-granddaughter, Berkleigh Allen.

Those left to cherish her memories include her husband of 44 years, Mike Starling; son Adam (Melissa) Starling; daughters, Amanda Mabe, Kelly Allen, and Robin Starling; grandchildren, Kayla Hull, Audrey (Zach) Seats, Rileigh Allen, Logan (Bethany) Mabe, Blaine Starling; great-grandchildren, Kashton & three future grandsons.

The family will receive friends from 12-2 PM Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in East Bend.  A private graveside service will be held at a later time.
