Glenn Lewis

Mr. Oscar “Glenn” Lewis, 78, passed away Monday, October 20, 2025. He was born April 7, 1947 in Iredell County to the late Huey Glenn Lewis and Beulah Ellen Wagoner Callahan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Lewis; a daughter, Glenda Johnson; and a special friend, Alvis Brown. Mr. Lewis loved making and playing his music with friends or alone. He loved singing and playing his guitar and other instruments and he loved spending time with his family, friends, or anyone he met. He is survived by his daughter, Wilma J Rogers; step-daughter, Teresa Smith; his beloved canine companion, “Bootsy”; grandchildren, Jennifer (Michael) Crawford, Charles (Toshia) Mauck, Amy (Jackie) Triplett, Ashley Johnson; step-granddaughter, Dana Luffman; great-grandchildren, Dakota Ward, Lilyanna Ward, Adrianna Allen, Isabel Crawford, Julisa (Joanquin) Esquivel, Jose Maliachi, Bryson Mauck, Justin Jenkins, Alexa Ward; step-great-granddaughter, Kayla Campbell; great-great grandsons, Aarav Mehta, Braxton Osbourne; sisters, Etta (Freddy) Icenhour, Linda (Herb) Wells; brothers, Charles (Teresa) Lewis, Jerry Lewis, Sammy (Lois) Lewis; nieces, Sandra Gradel, Janice (Ben) Litka; nephews, Matthew Lewis, David Lewis, Jon Lewis; great nieces, Erin Gradel, Emma Gradel, Charlotte Litka, Abigail Lewis; great nephews, Evan Gradel, Benny Litka, JJ Lewis, Jacob Schwegel, Adam (Mikayla) Schwegel; great-great nephew, Carter Schwegel; and special friends, Cecil Turner, Terry and Teresa Long, Billy Casstevens, Rock Harris.
