Grace Marie Bryant Reinhardt

Grace Marie Bryant Reinhardt, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2026. She was born on June 11, 1935, in Surry County to the late Herman Bryant and Viola Kromholz Bryant.

Grace was a lifelong member of Longtown Community Church where she led youth choir and was an active member of the United Methodist Women’s group. She worked with her sister at the bake shop and retired from Starmount High School as part of the cafeteria staff. Grace loved baking, but above all she loved her family.

In addition to her parents, Grace was preceded in death by her siblings, Frances Groce and Harold Bryant. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 75 years, Max Johnson Reinhardt, sons; Michael (Pennie) Reinhardt, Joel (Cathy) Reinhardt, grandchildren; Michelle (Chuck) Tavano, Josh (Amy) Reinhardt, Matthew (Julie) Reinhardt, Eric (Shana) Reinhardt, great grandchildren; Ian Tavano, Matty Tavano, Haley Reinhardt, Sophie Reinhardt, Mia Reinhardt, Arys Reinhardt, Braeden (Chaeli) Reinhardt, Eden Reinhardt, Mattox Reinhardt, sister; Stacy Miller and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will visit with friends on Monday, July 20, 2026, at Longtown Community Church from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM with Allen Walker and Eddie Matthews officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family would like to thank Mountain Valley Hospice for their exceptional care of Mrs. Reinhardt and the family during this time. They would also like to give a special thank you to Grace’s caregiver, Donna Matthews.
