Helen Robbie Klutz Cheek

Helen Robbie Klutz Cheek, 97, passed away Friday January 20, 2023. She was born May 9, 1925 in Forsyth County to the late Paul Daywalt Klutz and Mary Ila Safrit Klutz. She was a member of Mt. View Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband who she married on December 10, 1946 Leo “Wayne” Cheek; four sisters; one brother, and a son-in-law; Joe Stokes. Surviving are her children Jerry (Christine) Cheek, Robbie (Elaine) Cheek, Cynthia Stokes; grandchildren Shane (Renee) Cheek, Chris (Leanna) Cheek, Travis (Kate) Cheek, Emily (Brian) Tuthill. Cameron (Taylor) Cheek; great grandchildren Jada, Tanner, Joseph, Wesley, Samuel, Sarah Beth, Sophie, Susanna, Carter, Andi; brother Dan Klutz. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at Mt. View Baptist Church Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to missions at Mt view Baptist Church 1232 Mountain View Church Rd. Hamptonville, NC 27020 or Trellis Supportive Care 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. The family would like to say a very special thanks to the staff of Trellis, especially Felicia, for the loving care given to Mrs. Cheek.
