Helen Bragg Mabe

Helen Bragg Mabe, 92, of Yadkinville, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at her home. Helen was born on April 12, 1934, in Summers County, West Virginia to the late, Caley Cecil Bragg and Alice Bertha Wills Bragg. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband of forty-two years, Wilburn Eugene Mabe; sister, Lois Basham and three brothers, Cecil, Harold and Leslie Bragg.

Surviving are her children, Reva Zwarick, Roberta Standridge, Cecil Ayers; grandchildren, Wendy Salami, Jay Faw, Deborah Ayers Bosch; great grandchildren, Natalie, Danielle, Andrew, Zachery, Hayleigh, Jeremy; nephew, David Barns; two sisters, Ilena Dillon and a brother, Wendell Bragg.

The family is planning a private service at a later date. Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville is serving the Mabe family.
