Hilda Gay "Mimi" Adams Hutchens

Boonville – Hilda Gay “Mimi” Adams Hutchens, 88, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2022. She was born February 2, 1934 in Yadkin County to the late Glenn Adams and Hazel Holleman Adams. Hilda was a member at Boonville United Methodist Church. She retired from Hanes Hosiery after 38 years of service. In addition of her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Kevin Hutchens; sister, JoAnn Hayes. Surviving is her husband, Frank Edward Hutchens; son, Keith (Miranda) Hutchens; granddaughters, Cassie Hutchens (fiancé – Patrick Lucas), Colby Hutchens; sister, Darlene (Tim) Carmichael. Her funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at Boonville United Methodist Church by the Rev. Julie Welborn. Burial will follow at Boonville Cemetery. Hilda will lie in-state 30 minutes prior to the service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday, July 11, 2022 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.
