Hilda Gay Hemric Swaim

Hilda Gay Hemric Swaim, 79, passed away Monday August 15, 2022. She was born September 17,1942 to the late Mack Hemric and Geraldine Nichols Hemric. She loved her family , crafts, sewing and decorating her home, but most of all spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Tommy Clayton Swaim; a son Eric Alexander Swaim; two brothers Jerry Hemric and Mickey Hemric. Surviving are her son Lee  Swaim and his spouse Rose; grandchildren Garrett Swaim, Jacob Swaim, Jordan Swaim; great grandchildren Arya Swaim, Stevie Rose; three sisters Maxine Williamson, Sylvia (Danny) Williamson, Pete (Dina) Gray; a brother Tommy (Brenda) Hemric; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. A private memorial service will be conducted at a later date. The family would like to say a very special thanks to the staff of Mountain Valley Hospice for the loving care given to Mrs. Swaim.  Gentry Family Funeral Service in Jonesville is serving the Swaim family.
