Irene Cleary James

Irene Elizabeth Cleary James, 85, of Yadkinville passed away peacefully on Sunday evening, April 10, 2022. She was born in Davie County, NC on May 3, 1936; daughter of the late Adolph Cleary and Beatrice Reavis Cleary. She lived a simple life close to home and found joy in the gifts of nature that God blessed her with in her garden and yard. Her home was always adorned with flowers, greenery, and fruits of the land. She was also, preceded in death by several siblings. Irene is survived by her son; Jimmy James, a sister; Mary Anderson and a brother; Dwight Cleary. The family will receive friends at Gentry Family Funeral Service on Saturday April 16 from 1:00PM until 2:00 PM.
