Mocksville – Jacob Dale Whitaker, 31, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2026. He was born September 24, 1994 in Forsyth County. He was preceded in death by his sister, Chelsie Whitaker; and cousin, Brett Baity. Jacob is survived by his father, Jesse “Frank” (Tamra) Whitaker; mother, Melinda Snow (Ramon) Morales; daughters, Lily Whitaker, Sarah Whitaker; brother, Joseph Lee Whitaker; step-sisters, Brittany (Seth) Ziglar, Grace Gilyard; grandparents, Dale and Diane Snow, Charlie and Cindy Holder; aunts and uncle, Melissa (Todd) Baity, DJ (Danielle) Snow, Jan (Tracy) McCann, Jenny (Kevin) Nunn, Jeff (Janice) Whitaker, Jeff (Liz) Whitaker, Crissy Holder; cousin, Brittan Baity; and other family members.

His graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, June 6, 2026 at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Chris Hauser and the Rev. Joel Riley.
