James "Jim" Bramwell Burton

James “Jim” Bramwell Burton, 71, of Jonesville, passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at his home. Jim was born on January 13, 1955, in Hartford Connecticut to the late, George Jackson Burton and Catherine Booth Bamford Burton.

Jim was a passionate, kind and caring man who was always there for others. He will be missed but we know he has joined his place in heaven with his beloved wife.

In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Lee Wallace Burton. Those left to cherish his memory include his children, John (Gina) Burton, Cathy (Jimmy) Campbell, his grandchildren, Alexis (Nathan) Ivinjack, Ashley Emery, his sister, Marilyn Ann (Dennis) Gudelski and his K-9 companion, Maybe.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
