James "Jim" Arthur Doll

Mr. James “Jim” Arthur Doll, 70, passed away, Tuesday, November 14, 2023. He was born April 30, 1953, in Guilford County to the late Martin and Felicite Doll. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Debbie Moose Doll; his son, Joseph “Joe” Doll; brothers, Jack (Janie) Doll, Joseph Doll (Bev Frye), Andrew Doll, Tom (Angie) Doll; sisters, Marthe Doll (Tim Hill), Kathe (Steve) Zaslow, Genny (Louis) Pugh; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws, special family friend Hoyt Shore, and his beloved North Carolina Farm Bureau family that will miss him dearly. Jim came from a large family, and he enjoyed staying in touch with all of them and loved sharing great family stories. Mr. Doll attended Belmont Abby College in Belmont, NC. He was an avid fan of the NC State Wolfpack. Jim served as an Insurance Agent with NC Farm Bureau for over 32 years. He loved the close-knit relationship he had with all of his clients, he was dedicated to all of them, and valued having a personal relationship with everyone. The family would like to thank the Jonesville, NC office and extended Farm Bureau family for their love and support over the years. They also want to send their appreciation to Forsyth Medical Center for the care they gave to Jim. The family will receive friends, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. A funeral service will be 3:00 PM, Sunday, November 19, 2023 at Union Baptist Church with Rev. Kenny Pardue and Mr. Greg Sidden officiating. Memorials may be made to Union Baptist Church Building Fund, 760 Union Baptist Church Rd., Hamptonville, NC 27020 or Your Father’s House, 3508 Zephyr Rd., Elkin, NC 28621. Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville is serving the Doll family.
