James David Wampler

Mr. James David “Jim” Wampler, 54, passed away Friday, May 30, 2025. He was born September 28, 1970 in Erie, Pennsylvania to James Emery Wampler and Gloria Lounsbury Delk. He was preceded in death by his father. Jim enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting, and playing scrabble and chess. He was a very patriotic person; he loved going to church and most of all he loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his mother, Gloria (Ronald) Delk; children, Timothy (Alexis) Wampler, Carolynn Wampler, Samuel Wampler, David Wampler; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Diana, Avalynn; his brothers, Benjamin Wampler, and Jason (Nicole) Wampler. The family will receive friends, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 5, 2025 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in East Bend. His funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM in the Gentry Family Chapel in East Bend. Burial will follow at Doub’s Chapel Cemetery, 5591 Seward Rd., Pfafftown, NC. Gentry Family Funeral Service of East Bend is serving the Wampler Family.
