Janice Hall Walker

Mrs. Janice Hall Walker, 79, passed away peacefully at Brookdale Care facility with family at her bedside, Friday, November 3, 2023. She was born May 10, 1944 in Surry County to the late Charlie Creed Hall and Bessie Shore Hall. Mrs. Walker was always active in her church. Janice was a great wife, mom, daughter, sister, and friend to all. Her greatest joy in life was being “Nana” to her three grandchildren. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Charles Walker; her daughters, Julie (Philip) Moxley, Jill (Kurt) Pfister; her grandchildren, Hanna (Chris) Mauch, Tanner Rohaley, Tyler Rohaley; her sister, Brenda (Joel) Ireland. The family will receive friends at St. Paul UMC, Friday, November 10, 2023 from 1:30 PM till 3:00 PM. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 3:00 PM with Rev. Greg Freeman officiating. Burial will immediately follow the service in the church cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff of Trellis Hospice and Brookdale Winston Salem for the loving care given to Janice. The family would also like to give a special thank you to Janice’s sister, Brenda Ireland for all the care, love, and compassion shown to Janice and her family during this time.
