Jeanine Steelman Kimmer

Harmony – Sherri “Jeanine” Steelman Kimmer, 52, passed away Sunday, September 24, 2023.  She was born October 7, 1970 in Iredell County to Olon and Nancy Swisher Steelman.  Jeanine loved spending time with family and friends, but her pride and joy was her grandson.  She was preceded in death by her father, Olon Steelman; step-sister, Priscilla Morris; brother-in-law, Jerry Keith Kimmer.  Surviving is her husband, Kevin Gregg Kimmer; son, Nick (Amanda) Kimmer; grandson, Ollie Kimmer; mother, Nancy Steelman; step-sister, Sandra (Mike) Ligon; father-in-law, W.G. (Marilyn) Kimmer; mother-in-law, Fairene Rannells; uncle, Jim Hayes.  Her funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, September 28, 2023 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville by the Rev. Chris Snow and the Rev. Chris Hauser.  Burial will follow at Bethel Baptist Cemetery in Yadkinville.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.  Memorials can be made to the donor’s choice.  Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Kimmer family.  Online condolences can be made at www.gentryfuneralservice.com.
