Jesse Gray Reed

Clemmons – Jesse Gray Reed, 96, passed away Monday, November 4, 2024. He was born August 5, 1928 in Forsyth County. Jesse retired from R.J. Reynolds after 45 years. He was a Boy Scout Master at Centenary Methodist Church for several years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Mae Yarbrough Reed; children, Beverly Reed, Charlotte Overcash, Patricia Leonard, Annette Scherf. He is survived by his children, Phyllis (Lee) Wade, Wilma (Fred) Kirk, William “Junior” Wilkins, Jr., Joyce (Mickey) Spaugh. His graveside service will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at Parklawn Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Eddie Honeycutt.
