Jimmy Darrell Revels

Mr. Jimmy Darrell Revels, 56, passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, in his home. He was born on July 12, 2025 in Yadkin County to Jimmy Lee Revels and Mary Speaks Revels. Jimmy was a faithful member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church where he was active with the youth.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his wife, Amy Revels; father, Jimmy Lee Revels; maternal and paternal grandparents; and several aunts and uncles. He is survived by his son, Darrell Grayson Luke Revels; mother, Mary Speaks Revels; sister, Tammy Revels Carr; aunts, Beverly Speaks (Chris) Posey, Cyndie Smith Isaacs, Emily Smith Stuart; uncles, Michael (Robin) Speaks, Virgil Smith, Gene Rivers, Ralph Revels, William Junior (Eunice) Revels; and a host of other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Jimmy was an active sports player in high school playing basketball, baseball and fishing. He loved and cared for his wife up until her death in 2013 and continued to be a devoted father to his son.

The family will visit with friend on Sunday, December 21, at Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville from 2:00 to 3:00 pm with funeral services to follow at 3:00 pm in the Gentry Family Chapel with Rev. Johnny Scott officiating. Burial will be held at Chinquapin Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
