JoAnn Roberts Wagoner

Wagoner BOONVILLE- Mrs. JoAnn Roberts Wagoner, 80, of Boonville passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on October 17, 2023. She was born February 10, 1943 to Ella Mae Davis. JoAnn worked at Hoots Memorial Hospital in Yadkinville for several years and later at Holiday Inn of Jonesville. JoAnn’s family meant everything to her and her love for her 4 daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren knew no end. She enjoyed dessert as her favorite meal and loved a good yard sale. Both her spunk and sass will be missed by all who knew her. Those left to cherish her memories include her husband, Jimmy Jack Wagoner; daughters, Sharon (Jim) Long, Jackie (Bryan) Snow, Donna (Meran) Johnson, Jennifer (Chris) Shore; sister, Lisa Adams; brother, Frank Davis; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 11:00AM -12:00PM Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Her Funeral Service will follow the visitation at 12:00 PM Saturday in the Gentry Family Chapel by Officiant Mary Owens and Rev. Betsy Richardson. Burial will follow in the Gospel Chapel Church Cemetery by Bill Bates. The family would like to express their gratitude to Mountain Valley Hospice and a special thank you to Sonya Lovette.
