John Samuel "Sam" Dixon

Mr. John Samuel “Sam” Dixon, 66, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2023. He was born June 6, 1956 in Forsyth County to the late John William Dixon and Shirley Ann Temples Dixon. He is survived by his sisters, Debbie (Tony) Goin, and Cheryl (Randy) Sizemore; his brother, Terry (Becky) Dixon, and several nieces and nephews. Sam enjoyed collecting record albums, watching the original Star Trek, playing Rook and farming. The family will receive friends at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Jonesville, Thursday, March 9, 2023 from 1:00 PM till 2:00 PM. His funeral service will follow the visitation at 2:00 PM in the Gentry Family Chapel with Rev. Roger Elmore officiating. Burial will follow in the Swaim's Baptist Church Cemetery.
