John Franklin Eldridge

Boonville- John (Bub) Franklin Eldridge, Jr., 63, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family at the Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center on August 15, 2023. He was born September 17, 1959 in Yadkin County to the late John Franklin Eldridge, Sr. and Louise Coram Eldridge. He loved spending time with his family. He never passed up an opportunity to fish with his buddies and take his annual trip to Davis Island for the DIFF club tournament. Surviving is his wife of 31 years, Lisa Parker Eldridge; daughter Morgan (Cody) Haynes; his best buddy and fishing partner, grandson Tucker Haynes and his sweet granddaughter Linnie Haynes; one stepson Jacob (Brittany) Allen and cherished and loved grandchildren, Lawsyn Allen – the first Grand to make him a Pa, Caden Allen and Parker Allen. Also surviving is John’s sister, Tammy (Reno) Miller and three wonderful nephews, Cody (Morgan) Miller, Jake Miller (Molly Carini), and Luke Miller (Brooks Collier).

His funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, August 20, 2023 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville by the Rev. Austin Caviness. Burial will follow at Charity Baptist Church in Boonville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to Dr. James Dugan and the wonderful, caring nurses at Novant Health Hematology and all of those at 9West Oncology.
