Mr. John Samuel Leatherman, Jr, age 56, passed away at his home on November 3, 2022. John was born in Forsyth County on September 21, 1966 to the late John and Betty Driggers Leatherman, Sr.  John was also preceded in death by his step-mother, Carolyn Tucker Leatherman and sister, Yvonne L. Norman

John loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them.  He enjoyed holiday get togethers and loved family meals. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his nieces, Jean Weakley, Mandi Norman, Samantha Melton; nephew, Andy Smith; lots of great nieces and nephews; three great-great nieces and nephews; aunt, Pattie Cockerham; several special cousins.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 am on Saturday November 19, 2022 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville .  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gentry Family Funeral Service to assist the family with funeral expenses.
