Johnny "Wade" Warden

Yadkinville Mr. Johnny Wade Warden, 74, passed away Friday, August 12, 2022 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Mr. Warden was born August 29, 1947 in Yadkin County to Guy Huston and Elsie Williams Warden. He enjoyed collecting antiques. In addition to his parents, Mr. Warden was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Warden; and three K-9 companions, Missy, Lance, and Tonya. He is survived by a sister, Shirley (Ted) Angell; two brothers, Lawrence (Phyllis) Warden and Jimmy (Vickie) Warden; a special friend, Kathy Warden; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00PM, Monday, August 15, 2022 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville with Pastor Jared Warden and Brother Lawrence Warden officiating. Burial will follow at Deep Creek Friends Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00PM prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Deep Creek Friends Cemetery Fund, 1140 Deep Creek Church Rd Yadkinville NC 27055.
