Jonathan Dale Rakes

Jonathan Dale Rakes, 51, passed away Thursday January 19, 2023. He was born November 11, 1971 in Surry County to Larry Dale Rakes and Patty Tate Caudill. He was preceded in death by his father. Surviving are his mother Patty Tate Caudill; step-father Richard Caudill; sisters Jennifer Rakes (John) Welcome, Lori Walker, Kim Caudle; brothers Jason Dale Rakes, Tommy Rathbone; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted at a later date. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Surry Community College 630 South Main Street Dobson, NC 27017.
