Judith Arlene Brown, 86, went to be with her Lord and Savior on the 10th of October, 2026. She was born to the late Frank and Etta Prest on November 28th, 1939. Judith was a wonderful mom, grandma, and great grandma, and loved spending time with her family. She had a love for music and ran the “Songs of the Cross” ministries with her husband. If she wasn’t playing or singing, she would be cooking and baking for her friends and family. She was an avid reader and loved listening to her audiobooks all the time. Judith had a heart for the Lord and showed this by the faithful dedication her and Henry showed Samaritan’s Purse for over 30 years. She was loved deeply by all whose lives she touched.
In addition to her parents, Judith was preceded in death by her husband, Henry John Brown; son, Scott H. Brown; sister, Patricia Hollenbeck; and brothers, Vincent Prest Jr, and Jim Prest. She is survived by her children, Donna (Robert) Carr, Je'an-Paul (Carrie) Brown; grandchildren, R.J (Mandy) Carr, Heidi (Mark) Harris, Caleb (Brandi) Carr, Gabriel (Samantha) Brown, Cassandra (Harley) Herman, Phoenix (Cheyenne) Brown; and great-grandchildren, Hayley Harris, Adam Harris, Caspian Harris, Mackenzie Brown.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday October 15th at 1:00 P.M at Spring Cemetery in Springboro, Pennsylvania. The family would like to extend a special “thank you” to the North Carolina Library for the Blind; Yadkin Nursing Care Center; and Liberty Hospice for all the care and support they have shown Judith in recent months. The staff of Gentry Family Funeral Service of Jonesville will be serving the Brown family.
