Kathy Ann Shore

Kathy Ann Shore, 78, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2025. She was born on September 29, 1947, in Forsyth County to the late Gorrell Shore and Irene Garnett Shore.

In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra Shore.

Those left to cherish Kathy’s memory include her sons, Shannon Williard and Walter Williard, Jr., grandchildren, Trey Williard, Anne Nichols, Zoey Schilling, Alley Williard, Eleanor Williard, Ryan Barrett and Brooke Barrett. Also surviving is her brother John Shore, nieces, Savannah Shore, Katrina Caudle, April Sharpe, Tasha Jones, nephews, Nathan Shore, AJ Driver and father of her children, Walter Williard, Sr.

When Kathy’s sons were younger, she always made time to attend their sporting events and became known as the “team mom”. She worked at RJ Reynolds for 20 years and Peidmont Aviation for 23 years. Kathy loved her family and will be greatly missed.

The family will visit with friends on Saturday, November 29, at Gentry Family Funeral Services of Yadkinville from 12:00 to 1:00 PM with funeral services to follow in the Gentry Chapel at 1:00 PM with Rev. Monty Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Yadkin Memorial Gardens.
