Kay Frances Davis Wilkins

Boonville – Kay Frances Davis Wilkins, 84, passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2026. She was born December 30, 1941 in Yadkin County to the late James Curtis Davis and Mary “Gertrude” Driver Davis.

Kay was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time outside and working in her flowers. Kay loved being around friends and family and going out to eat.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, George Edward Wilkins; great great granddaughter, Delilah Lee; sisters, Jackie Brown, Mary Miller, Linda McBride; and brothers, James Sherrill Davis, Shelby Davis. She is survived by her children, Sharon (Gary) Renegar, Timothy (Sonya) Wilkins, Michael (Melissa) Wilkins; grandchildren, Kelly Neas, Justin Renegar, Tiffany Wilkins, Curtis Wilkins; two step grandchildren; great grandchildren, Shane Lee, Austin Renegar, James Jenkins; great great grandchildren, Lily Lee, William Lee; brother, Dean Davis; and several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 5, 2026 at Shady Grove Baptist Church by the Rev. Chris Benfield. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the church.
