Kevin Gregg Kimmer

Harmony – Kevin Gregg Kimmer, 61, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2026. He was born September 21, 1965 in Yadkin County.

Kevin enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, but his pride and joy was his grandson. He has never met a stranger and would always be there to help a friend or anyone that needed help.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanine Steelman Kimmer; mother, Fairene Hayes Rannells; brother, Keith Kimmer. Kevin is survived by his son, Nick (Amanda) Kimmer; grandson, Ollie Kimmer; father, W.G. (Marilyn) Kimmer; niece, Keri (Dustin) Miles; nephew, Preston (Sheena) Kimmer; mother-in-law, Nancy Steelman.

His funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Friday, October 30, 2026 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville by the Rev. Chris Snow. Burial will follow at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, October 29, 2026 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.
