Larry Ray Johnson

East Bend - Mr. Larry Ray Johnson, 57, passed away on May 9, 2023. Mr. Johnson was born January 2, 1966, in Surry County to Jimmy Ray and Alta Thompson Johnson of Mount Airy.  In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his wife, Carolyn Lawrence; a daughter, Ciara Johnson, of the home; a step-son, Joey Foster, of the home; a son, Larry (Kristie) Johnson, Jr. of Madison Mayodan; a daughter, Autumn Johnson, of Hillsville, Virginia; a sister, Vicki (Randy) Goins, of Mount Airy; two nephews, Dean Goins, of Elkin, North Carolina and Ryan (Meagan) Goins, of Cana, Virginia; a niece, Kayla Johnson and children, of Yadkinville, North Carolina.  A private service will be held at a later date.  Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Johnson family.  Online condolences can be made to www.gentryfuneralservice.com.
