Lauren Dianne Caulfield

Dec 12, 1985 — Nov 5, 2026

Lauren Dianne Caulfield, 40, of Yadkinville, North Carolina, passed away on November 5, 2026, after a courageous battle with stage 4 breast cancer. Lauren was born on December 12, 1985, in Forsyth County. She graduated from Western Guilford High School in 2004, where she was a member of the band and the tennis team. She went on to attend Guilford College for a couple of years before beginning her working life. Lauren spent seven years with Sherwin-Williams and almost two years with Furnitureland South, where her outgoing nature served her well.

Lauren later made the decision to become a stay-at-home mom so she could devote her time to her children. It was a role she embraced fully and with great pride. She took joy in teaching and caring for her children, helping them grow into the people they are today. Her influence on them will continue long after her passing, carried forward in their character and in the lessons she so patiently shared.

Those who knew Lauren will remember her as outspoken and self-driven, with a never-quit attitude that defined the way she approached life. She was outgoing and had a rare gift for making friends with anyone she met. Above all, she was loyal, caring, and loving to the people in her life, and she never hesitated to show it. Lauren treasured time spent with family and friends, whether at events, concerts, or music festivals. She loved the beach and could often be found lying in the sun, soaking in the warmth and the peace it brought her. On most weekends, she took her children to museums and to the lake with the family, creating memories that her loved ones will cherish always.

Lauren is survived by her boyfriend, Timothy Zach; daughters, Kellyn Caulfield and Evelyn Zach; her son, Ethan Zach; her stepsons, Henry Zach and Avery Zach; her father, Jackie Freeman Jr.; her mother, Vonda Haigwood; her stepmother, Mary Bohnert; her sister, Corey Rankin; her former mother-in-law, Rayma Caulfield; and her former sister-in-law, Briana Caulfield. She also leaves behind many friends who were blessed by her friendship. She was preceded in death by her former husband, Kenneth Caulfield, and her former father-in-law, Brian Caulfield.

A visitation will be held on November 8, 2026, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Island Ford Baptist Church in Jonesville, North Carolina. The funeral service will follow immediately after the visitation. Burial will proceeded the funeral service in the church cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Bryan Snow, Brandon Compton, Travis Dully, Matthew Smitherman, Jake Tuttle, and Billy Hester.

The family extends special thanks to Billy and April Hester, Debra Matheson, and Greg Zach for their love and support. Lauren's faith was a source of strength throughout her life, and her family takes comfort in knowing that she is now at peace in the arms of the Lord. Through every hardship, they believe she was never walking alone.

"The Lord Replied, The times when you have seen only one set of Footprints in the sand were when I carried you"
