Linda Kennedy Johnson

East Bend - Linda Gail Kennedy Johnson, 76, passed away Saturday, August, 31, 2024 surrounded by loving family at her residence.

She was born January 2, 1948 in Forsyth County to the late Samuel Lorenze Kennedy and Norma Settle Kennedy.

Linda was a member of Silo Church of Christ, and enjoyed cooking for family and friends, crocheting and loved to decorate. She always enjoyed being at the lake and the beach but most of all loved her husband, children and grandchildren.

Linda is survived by her husband Steven Glenn Johnson; 3 children: Zachary Glenn Johnson and wife Amy, Natalie Johnson Kennedy, Joshua Micah Johnson and wife Sherry; son-in-law, Jeff Kennedy; one brother, Rick Kennedy, 5 grandchildren: Tyler Johnson and wife Charly, Tiffany K. Olsen and husband Connor, Macy Baity and husband Adam, Lucas Kennedy, Lance Kennedy and fiancé Hanna Lynch; one great granddaughter, Stevie Olsen.

Her funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville by Brother Steve McCollum, Brother Jody Mitchell, and Brother Gary Riddle. Burial will follow in the Silo Church of Christ Cemetery, 1901 Shacktown Road, Yadkinville, NC 27055. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at Gentry Family Funeral Service at Yadkinville.
