Linda Strausser Queen

Mrs. Linda Strausser Queen, 69, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 2, 2025 after many years of declining health. She was born in Pennsylvania on September 2, 1956 to Louis Allen Strausser, Sr. and Barbara Jones Mayes. Linda was in a bad car wreck at the age of 20, which caused her a lifetime of many challenges. Despite the battles she faced in her life, she was always resilient. She will be well remembered and deeply missed by all those in the community who knew and loved Mrs. Queen.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Queen; step father, Howard Mayes; and a half-brother, Billy Mayes. She is survived by a brother, Louis Strausser, Jr. and his wife, Debra Strausser; half-brothers, Edward Mayes and Steven Mayes; step mother, Anne Marie Strausser; and numerous nieces and nephews.

No formal services will be held at this time. Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville is serving the Strausser and Queen family.
