Linda Gail Wagoner

Linda Gail Wagoner went to be with her Lord and Savior on the 30th of July, 2026. She was born to the late Frank and Lyndell Lewis on May 21st, 1942. Linda had a love for the Lord and her church family. She was a long-term member of Monticello Baptist Church and played piano around all the churches of Iredell County for 50 years. Linda also loved watching the Atlanta Braves, given they were her home team. She loved and was loved deeply by all her family and friends. Linda will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Rev. Roby Howard Wagoner; sister, Dianne Lewis; and brothers, Frank Lewis Jr, and Elliot Lewis. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Tammy Josey, Kimberly (Scott) Denny, Cecil Wagoner; grandchildren, Kristin Josey, Hannah (Nick) Fugaro, Hunter (Shelby) Goodwin, Kevin Josey, Jack Denny; great-grandchild, Naomi Goodwin; sister, Alma Lewis; nieces, Michelle (Danny) Baker, Stephanie Cox; and nephew, Chad Lewis.

The family will receive friends and visitors on Monday, August 3rd from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M at Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville. The funeral service will be held following the visitation at 11:00 A.M in the Gentry Family Chapel. Burial will follow the service at Yadkin Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Gordon Hospice House at 2341 Simonton Rd, Statesville, NC 28625, as well as the Gideons International. The staff of Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville will be serving the Wagoner family.
