Lorene Eads Jester

East Bend Lorene E. Jester, of East Bend, died Thursday February 23, 2023. She was born in Surry County to Julis Andy and Irma Hardy Eads. Mrs. Jester was a member of Richmond Hill Baptist Church. She was loving and devoted to her church and her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, E.G. “Jack” Jester and a brother, Wayne (Lois) Eads. She is survived by her daughter, Vickie Jester Matthews; Grandchildren, Michelle (Randall) Hinshaw and Erin Haynes; great-grandchildren, Madison Haynes, Briana Hinshaw, and Taber Haynes; and a special nephew, Donald Jester. Her funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Richmond Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Luke Money and Rev. Will Hamric officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. You may pay your respects Saturday from 12:00 noon until 5:00 at the funeral home.
