Lorina Ellen Jane Boggs

Lorina Ellen Jane Groce Boggs, 88, of Yadkinville, passed away on Friday, July 18, 2025. She was born on October 9, 1936, in Yadkin County to the late Wilson Miller Groce and Leona Mae Wishon Groce.

In addition to her parents, Lorina was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Isom Boggs, sisters, Joann Campbell, Della Miller, brother, Richard Groce, children, Bobby Boggs and Linda Boggs.

Those left to cherish Lorina’s memory include her children, Larry Boggs (Cindy), Wanda Southard (Bryan), Terry Boggs, Jeff Boggs, Sylvia Boggs, Sharon Phillips (Doug), Susan Talley (Scott), grandchildren, Amanda, Emily, Ashley, Jonathan, Shelby, Cassie, Megan, Dalton, Ryan, Justin, Dylan, Cameron, Brayden, twelve great grandchildren, special nephew, Tony Campbell and beloved dog, Rosa Mae.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, July 24 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville with Rev. Mark Brown officiating with burial following at Wyo Community Cemetery. The family will visit with friends prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.

Pallbearers will be Larry Boggs, Terry Boggs, Jeff Boggs, Tony Campbell, Johnny Boggs and Randy Boggs. “Mama carried us into this world; we can carry her out.”

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice at 243 N Lee Ave, Yadkinville, NC 27055
