Lowery "Wayne" Jennings

Jonesville – Lowery “Wayne” Jennings, 76, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2026. He was born July 23, 1949 in Raleigh County, WV to the late Lowery Buford Jennings and Elizabeth Christeen Bobblett. Wayne enjoyed spending time outdoors and also fishing with his friends in the Clingman Bass Masters Fishing Club. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, Brian Wayne Jennings. He is survived by his wife, Judy Farmer Jennings; children, Connie (Steve) Royall, Amanda (Chad) Vestal, Ashley (Jeremy) Ivey; grandchildren, Brittany (Roger), Nichole, Mackenzie (Jordan), Holly (Dalton), Luke (Blythe), Stevie, Lexie, Lenzie, Jackson, Garrett, Riley, Nicholas, Bryleigh; great grandchildren, Bryson, Carson, Addyson, Liam, Declan, Dallas, Lilly, Zeke, Riverleigh; great great grandson, Dallas; bonus grandchildren, Landon, Kinsey, Ryleigh, and Jeremy Jr.; sister, Ilene (Forrest) Lavinder; brothers, Ronald (Mary) Jennings, Dennis (Kyoko) Jennings. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Jennings family.
