Lucille Brown

Boonville – Lucille Brown, 80, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2026. She was born October 31, 1945 in Yadkin County to the late William Cleon Brown and Annie Davis Brown. Lucille enjoyed playing golf and spending time at the beach. She was a caring and thoughtful person and took wonderful care of her son. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Billy “Darrell” Brown, Sr. She is survived by her son, “Billy” Darrell Brown, Jr.; sister, Linda Johnson, Nancy Spainhour; brother, W.C. (Carol) Brown. Her graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, June 20, 2026 at Mitchell’s Chapel Church by the Rev. Jermiah Beasley. The family would like to thank Forsyth Medical Center and Mountain Valley Hospice for all the love and care shown to Lucille. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Brown family.
