Mr. Mack McKinney, 87, passed away Friday, December 03, 2021 at Pruitt Healthcare.  Mr. McKinney was born October 16, 1934 to Charlie and Ellie Navy McKinney.  He enjoyed raising a garden, hunting, and repairing small engines.  He worked as a tobacco farmer for many years and also for RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company. 

In addition to his parents, Mr. McKinney was preceded in death by his loving wife, Bertha Hemric McKinney; and several siblings.  He is survived by a brother-in-law, Eugene (Sheldon) Hemric; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00PM, Monday, December 6, 2021 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville with Rev. Ronnie Wooten officiating.  Burial will follow at Mitchells Chapel UMC Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00PM, prior to the service at the funeral home.
