Marcus Allen Bryant

Mr. Marcus Allen Bryant, 52, unexpectedly passed away Friday, February 20 2026. He was born January 12, 1974 in Surry County to Eddie Allen Bryant and the late Christine Ann Powers. Mr. Bryant loved sports, especially coaching youth sports with his favorite being baseball. Marcus was a North Carolina Tarheel and Philadelphia Eagles fan. Marcus is survived by his wife of 15 years, Dana Michelle Bryant; children, Tyson Bryant, Summer Bryant, Katelyn Bryant; grandchildren, Koben Bryant, Kashton Bryant, Klaira Bryant; father and step-mother Eddie and Becky Bryant; his twin brother, Michael Adam Bryant (Ashley Seigler); nephew, Major William Bryant; and a grandmother, Kathryne Powers. The family will receive friends, Tuesday, February 24, 2026 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Jonesville. A graveside service will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Yadkin County Animal Shelter. Gentry Family Funeral Service of Jonesville is serving the Bryant family.
