Margaret Ann Lashmit

BOONVILLE - Margaret Ann Lashmit, 83, passed away Friday, December 8, 2023.  She was born April 4, 1940, in Davie County.  She was preceded in death by her husband and daughter-in-law.  She is survived by her children, Tommy (Lori) Lashmit, Keith (the late Christina) Lashmit, and Melissa “Lisa” (Donny) Knight; grandchildren, Joseph (Heather) Knight, Lyle (Kari) Lashmit, Beth Lashmit, Joe (Elizabeth) Tilley, and Luke (Carley) Knight; great-grandchildren, Audrey, Carson, and Abby Knight, Brooke Tilley, Kingston and Wylder Lashmit; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends, Michelle and Santana “Nana”; and her special dog.

Margaret loved spending time at the beach.  She was an avid collector of angels due to her maiden name, “Angel”.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.  A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests individuals make a donation to a charity of their choice. Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville is serving the Lashmit family.
