Margaret West Caudle, 79, of Hamptonville passed away Wednesday, November 16th, 2022 peacefully at her home. Born November 19th, 1942 to Charles and Irene West, she was a life-long resident of Yadkin County.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a grandson, Harrison Caudle; and special cousin, Ann Arnold.

The proud founder of Margaret Caudle Tax Service in 1963, Margaret cherished the many friendships her profession brought to her and the entire family, as well as the dedicated and loving family her “co-workers” were. Margaret hardly knew a stranger and will be remembered for her kind, straight-forward demeanor, always accompanied by a genuine smile and hearty laugh. Her love of travel took her to all 50 states, many with her children and grandchildren, and 17 countries. Her passion extended to sports as well, with a love of playing tennis and watching various sports; especially when those that she loved were in action. Perhaps most of all she had immense pride in her home and garden that she and Jimmy worked lovingly on together, sharing fresh flowers to spread warmth and happiness to all that she could. Margaret was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church in Hamptonville, NC.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Mountain View Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm prior to the service at the church. Any ladies attending services can wear a hat as Margaret loved a beautiful hat and dress.

In lieu of flowers the family wishes for everyone to plant a flower at their home to enjoy and remind them of the joy she brought to their lives. Donations may be made to Mountain View Baptist Church, Education Building Fund: 1232 Mountain View Church Rd., Hamptonville, NC 27020. Most importantly Margaret would encourage everyone, be kind to one another and have a wonderful day.

Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville is serving the Caudle family.
