Mark Anthony Sparks

Mr. Mark Anthony Sparks, 58, passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at Hugh Chatham Hospital.  Mark was born February 12, 1963 in Surry County to Fred and Mary Brooks Sparks.  He was a 1981 graduate of Forbush High School and enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing, and watching NASCAR.  More than anything, Mark enjoyed spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Mark is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Karen Lawson Sparks; three children, Kara (Scott) Pillock, Dustin Sparks, and Chase Sparks (Brittany); two grandchildren, Trent Lee Pillock and Seth Tyler Pillock; a brother, Sam (Karen) Sparks; and many special friends that were like family to Mark.

A private service will be held at a later date. 

Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Sparks family.
