Marlyn Clyde Vestal

Marlyn Clyde Vestal, 90, passed away Thursday December 19, 2019. She was born August 9, 1929 in Surry County to the late Kim and Faye Groce Vestal. Surviving are her daughter Sandra (Steve) Shumate; grandchildren Kim (Gwyn) Haynes, Stephanie (Sgt. Robert) Rainis; great grandchildren McKenzie Haynes, McKenna Haynes, Aryanna Rainis, Peyton Rainis, Jordan Rainis; brother K. M. (Norma) Vestal; special loving niece Pam Dudley. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM Saturday December 21, 2019 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Jonesville. Her funeral will be conducted at 2:00 PM following the visitation in the Gentry Family Chapel by Rev. Tommy Conley and K. M. Vestal. Burial will follow at Sunrise Cemetery. The family would like to say a very special thanks to the staff of the SECU Hospice Home in Yadkinville for the loving care given to Ms. Vestal. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Jonesville is serving the Vestal family.
