Mary Beane Frye

Mary Beane Frye passed away on the 18th of September, 2025. She was born on February 29, 1940, to the late Carmie and Maxie Beane. She could often be found watching her favorite TV shows, such as Days of Our Lives or various westerns, while enjoying a Diet Pepsi. She was also self-taught on the piano and loved playing it for her family, and sometimes would be seen playing it at the Yadkin Nursing Center. Mary also had a deep love for her family, and she expressed this by the way she raised them.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert “Tom Pete” Frye; grandson, Joey Moser; and daughter, Joanne Moser. Mary is survived by her son, Jeffery (Tammy) Frye; grandchildren, Charity Frye, Beyoncé (Brandon) Paris, Chastity Dickerson, and Lewis (Danielle) Moser; great-grandchildren, Morgan Moser, Bryson Moser, Dawson Moser, and Blake Moser; and son-in-law, Steve Moser.

A special thank you would like to be extended by the family to the staff of Yadkin Nursing Center for their care and kindness shown to Mary over the years, as well as to Forsyth Medical Center. The family will hold a visitation at Gentry Family Funeral Services of East Bend on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. A funeral service will take place following the visitation in the Gentry Family Chapel. Burial will precede the funeral service and will take place at Douglas Cemetery. The staff of Gentry Family Funeral Services of East Bend will be serving the Frye family.
