Mrs. Mary Lee Campbell Reavis, 85, of Hamptonville, went home to be with her Savior and the love of her life, Rex, on January 22, 2026 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born on March 22, 1940 to the late Wilfred and Nettie Campbell of Harmony. Mary’s life was rooted in faith, love, and devotion to those around her. She was a woman of strong Christian faith and a founding member of Charity Bible Church, where her love for God and others was evident in the way she lived her life. She was the heart of her family, a steady presence, a listening ear, and a source of comfort, strength, and laughter. Above all else, what she loved most was her family. She was blessed with 4 children, 11 grandchildren, and 26 great-grandchildren with one more on the way, but in truth, she was Mamaw to many more. Her legacy lives on through the countless lives she touched, the memories she created, and the love she gave so freely. She dedicated many years of her life to serving others through her work in the cafeterias at Yadkin Nursing Home and Yadkinville Elementary School, where she was known for her warm kindness, caring heart, and sense of humor. In addition to her work outside the home, she worked alongside her husband on the farm and lovingly babysat and helped raise many children throughout her life, treating each one as her own and leaving a lasting impact on generations of families. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, Rex Reavis; her brother, Phil Campbell; her brothers-in-law, Elton Trexler, Bill Casstevens, Thomas Stroud, and Billy Reavis; her sisters-in-law, Brenda Campbell and Nola Reavis; her son-in-law, J Lee Winters; and her precious great-grandson, Colton Rex Hart. Left to carry her memories are her children, Kim (Lynn) Henderson, Gayle (Pat) Reavis, Donna Winters, and Roger (Debbie) Reavis; her grandchildren, Holly (Greg) Russell, Justin (Megan) Henderson, Brock (Tiara) Henderson, Nick (Sabrina) Reavis, Hannah Whitt, Chloe Reavis, Megan (Matthew) Sizemore, Jared (Elizabeth) Hart, April (Doug) Williams, Tracy (Astin) Gregory, and Chelsea (Alex) Pinter; and her great-grandchildren, Cade, Ryder, Paisley, Merrick, Kenlynn, Graecyn, Sawyer, Jesse, Kason, Azlee, Hudson, Samuel, Brody, Reed, Mary-Grace, Silas, Lydia, Olivia, Dawson, Payton, Sean, Sydney, Mason, Taelynn, and Maevry; her sisters, Hilda Trexler and Judy Wishon; brother, Jackie (Kaye) Campbell; her sisters-in-law, Betty Jo Stroud, Christine Casstevens, and Karen Holcomb; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends, Thursday January 29, 2026 from 6:00 PM until 8:00PM at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Her funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Friday January 30, 2026 at Charity Bible Church with Rev. Brian Sipes, Rev. Robbie Sipes, and Rev. Kevin Wooten officiating. Mrs. Reavis will lie-in-state from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to Charity Bible Church in Hamptonville.
