Mary Ann Stanley

Mrs. Mary Ann George Stanley, 79, passed away Friday, August 7, 2026 at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. She was born March 17, 1947 to the late Kelly and Sadie George. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ronnie Dean Stanley; her sister, Betty Renegar, and her brothers, James George, and Richard George; and a special nephew, Jeffrey Stanley. Mrs. Stanley was a member of Mt. Herman Baptist Church. She enjoyed working in her flower garden and watching hummingbirds. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Billy) Stanley Brown; Tiffany Crabb that Mary raised and loved like a daughter; grandchildren, Brooke (Caleb) Thomas, Kellie (Zach) Miller, Sierra Crabb; great-granddaughter, Caroline Thomas; sister-in-law, Dianne (Lynn) Hayden; niece, Heather (Josh) Johnson; nephews, Michael (Kim) Hayden, and Keith (Lynn) Stanley. The family will receive friends, Monday, August 10, 2026 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Mt. Herman Baptist Church. A graveside service will follow the visitation at 11:00 AM in the church cemetery with Rev. Keith Stanley and Rev. Danny Henley officiating. Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville is serving the Stanley family.
