Michael Shane Collins

 Michael Shane Collins, 37, passed away Tuesday June 18, 2024. He was born February 17, 1987 in Surry County to Dennis “Buddy” Russell Collins and Vicky Marsh Collins. Michael loved spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Dennis “Buddy” Russell Collins; grandparents Russell Collins, Shephard Marsh, and Alice Marsh. Surviving are his mother Vicky Marsh Collins; grandmother Nonnie Collins. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday June 25, 2024 at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. John Newton and Rev. Jeremy Absher. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Stone’s Throw Christian Ministries, 103 Fellowship wat State Road, NC 28676. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Jonesville is serving the Collins family.
