Yadkinville-  Mr. Mickey Ray Shore, 59, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 21, 2022 in Montana while on a trip with his daughter, Alicia.  Mr. Shore was born January 1, 1963 in Yadkin County to the late Ray and Louise Shore.  He worked his entire life as a painter for different companies and individuals.  After his retirement, he enjoyed the fellowship with his numerous friends while eating breakfast at either Yadkin Plaza or Ace's Restaurants.  Mr. Shore loved and cherished his family, especially his grandchildren.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his nephew, Brandon Dean Shore.  Surviving are his daughters, Alicia Shore, Yadkinville, twins, Charity Fulp and husband Matt, Chastity Turner and husband, Zeb all of Winston-Salem; grandchildren, Cholee & Aubree Fulp, Rex Turner, Gatlin Zimmerman, Easton Cave; sister, Brenda Shore Brown and husband, Chris of Yadkinville; brothers, Dean Shore and wife, Ginger of Advance and Rickey Shore of Albemarle.  There will be a gathering of family and friends from 2-4 PM on Saturday January 29, 2022 in the Gentry Family Chapel of Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville for everyone to Celebrate the Life of Mickey Ray Shore and exchange the many colorful stories involving him.  The family requests that everyone in attendance observe social distancing and wear appropriate masks.
