Mildred "June" Shore Hayes

Mildred “June” Shore Hayes, 91, passed away Monday, July 4, 2022. She was born February 25, 1931 in Yadkin County to the late Thad shore and Mary Johnson Shore. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 52 years Roy Henderson Hayes; two brothers Herbert Shore and William Clay Shore. Left behind to cherish her memory is her daughter Tammy Jordan; grandson Bryce Jordan; special niece Patty Younts; beloved companions Peanut and Paisley; several extended family members. Mrs. Hayes was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends from 10:00 -11:00 AM Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Graveside service will be conducted at 11:30 AM following the visitation at Longtown Cemetery by Rev. Michael Douglas. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hinkle Hospice Home 2012 Hospice Way Lexington, NC 27292 or Hayworth Cancer Center in High Point 302 Westwood Ave. High Point, NC 27262. The family would like to say a very special thanks to the staff of Hinkle Hospice Home and Hayworth Cancer Center in High Point for the loving care given to Mrs. Hayes.
