Millie Susan Seifert

Millie Susan Seifert, 86, passed away peacefully on July 9th 2025, leaving behind a legacy of strength and resilience. Born on February 19th, 1939, to the late Mitchell Odell Foster and Ruby Langston Foster. Millie was a woman of fierce will, quick wit, and boundless heart. She met life head-on, with a sassy spirit and a sharp sense of humor that never dulled.

A true lover of the outdoors, Millie found joy in nature’s quiet moments. Her resolute nature and unshakeable character were the foundation of her family, and her presence brought laughter and light to all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her devoted husband, MSgt Robert Seifert, her beloved son, Mitchell Foster; her brother, Jan Foster; sister Madge Lee Foster; and great-grandson Odell Foster. Millie is survived by her cherished daughter, Melinda Foster; brother Roger Foster (Sylvia); sister Margie Decker; and six grandchildren: Carrie Clark (Drew), Shawn D'Ippolito (Tori), Christopher Foster (Trista), Joshua Foster, Koi Davis (Brian), and Kobi Foster, great-grandchildren: Jaxon Clark, Mila Clark, Carson D'Ippolito, Sadie D’Ippolito, David Davis, Holden Davis, Clark Davis, Sequoyah Foster, Joshua Foster, Lexie Foster, Eli Foster, Nerah Foster, Wyatt Foster, and two great-great-grandchildren, Clayton Quint and Wyatt Quint.

Millie’s legacy lives on in the generations who carry her strength, laughter, and spirit forward. The family will be holding a graveside service at Forbush Baptist Cemetery on July 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM. The staff of Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville will be serving the Seifert family.
