Nolan Reid Brown

Nolan R. Brown, 81, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on June 22, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents Dale and Ruth Brown of Hamptonville and a son, Mark Brown of Lone Hickory. Nolan was an avid golfer and loved going golfing in his free time. After golfing, he took up metal detecting. 

He is survived by his daughter, Candice Brown of Hamptonville; a sister, Doris Pearson of Concord, California; a nephew Jay Pearson and his children Matt and Andrew; a niece, Katherine; two grandsons, Vance Brown (Shelly) and Juston Brown (Maranda) of Courtney and Lone Hickory; and four great-grandchildren, Charlie Brown, 10, Grace Brown, 7, Piper Brown, 7 and Sadie Brown, 3. 

A celebration of life will be held at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville on Tuesday, June 27, at 6:30PM. All are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dementia Society of America, 188 N Main St, Doylestown, PA 18901.
